How to Wear the Hijab
Wearing the Hijab with finished look and comfortable fit is an art. By practicing these simple and easy methods, you can master in wearing the hijab in trendy styles.
A Hijab, which is an identity of Muslim women, can be worn in so many trendy and fashionable styles. With the changing demands of today, many methods have been introduced for wearing the hijab. Most women found it problematic in wrapping a hijab properly. Though, wearing the hijab is an art, but with little practice one can get her hands on to wrap a hijab in different appealing styles. To follow the hassle-free method of wearing hijab, you will need following things
- A rectangular hijab
- Few sliding pins
- A Bonnet cap (if needed)
- Quick Method1:
With these easy to follow steps, you will able to wrap your hijab with good coverage from the front and a complete finished look.
Following are the steps for wearing the hijab according to Method 1:
- Take a rectangular hijab with tassles hanging on both ends.
- Place the hijab over your head in such a manner that one side came shorter and the other longer.
- Take the longer side and wrap it over your head. For a fix look, you can put a sliding pin just above your ear. If the hijab is longer, you can again wrap it over your head and pin it.
- Quick Method2:
Following are the steps for wearing the hijab according to Method 2:
- Take a rectangular hijab of a medium size with tassles hanging on both ends.
- Put the hijab over your head in the same way as of Method 1, that is, one side shorter and the other longer.
- Take the cloth from both, the shorter side and the longer side, and pin it underneath the chin for a perfect finish.
- Afterwards, take the cloth from the longer side and cover it nicely over your head.
- Quick Method3:
Following are the steps for wearing the hijab according to Method 3:
- Put a rectangular hijab over your head with one side longer than the other.
- Fold back the hijab behind the neck so the two edges meet together.
- Pin up the two edges together by using a safety pin behind the back of the neck with smooth finishing and comfortable fit.
- Take the longer end of the hijab and bring it down towards chin and wrap it over the head.
- Bring the hijab on the other side and pin the edge of the hijab nicely.
Tips for wearing the Hijab:
- To avoid slipping off the hijab, you can wear a bonnet cap under it.
- For slippery fabrics like chiffon and georgette, pin your hijab well to ensure it firmly stays in place.
- Don’t forget to adjust all the creases on the front part of the hijab when setting it at the forehead.
- You can add accessories to your hijab by wearing a decorative head band over it.
